Terms & Conditions

  1. With the exception of young puppies all dogs must be house trained.
  1. Dogs must be suitable to be with other dogs and people.
  1. All dogs must come with the completed paperwork including proof of vaccinations/ immunity.
  1. All dogs must be fully up to date with their vaccinations against Canine Distemper, Infectious Canine Hepatitis, Leptospirosis and Canine Parvovirus and Kennel Cough (optional).  Vaccinations must have been completed at least four weeks before they join day care. A titre test that demonstrates adequate immunity for the core diseases will be accepted.
  1. All dogs must be treated for fleas, external parasites and worms.
  1. All dogs must be microchipped by law.
  1. The Control Of Dogs Order 1992 mandates that any dog in a public place must wear a collar with the name and address, including post code of the owner engraved or written on it or engraved on a tag, whether the dog is chipped or not.
  1. We are unable to offer day care to un-neutered adult males or females in season.
  1. We are unable to take puppies until they have completed their vaccination course.
  1. 10. If your dog requires feeding whilst at day care it is vital that you bring your dog’s food. 
  1. 11. Any medication that your dog requires must be supplied by a vet and you must complete a medication permission form with details of dosage instructions etc.
  1. 12. If we believe that your dog is not in good health we reserve the right to seek veterinary advice on your behalf and you will be liable for the veterinary fees.
  1. 13. We are sorry but we are unable to take aggressive dogs or those that suffer from severe separation anxiety or excessive barking. 
  1. 14. We are also unable to take any dogs with an infectious disease such as kennel cough. 
  1. 15. You are liable for any damage that your dog causes during its stay with us. 
  1. 16. Newcastle K9 Day Care will not be responsible for the payment of any veterinary bills if your dog requires any treatment during his/ her stay with us, unless caused by negligence on our part. 
  1. 17. If your dog has any issues such as guarding food or toys, mounting other dogs etc it is vital that you inform us so that we can take steps to prevent these situations occurring.
  1. 18. Please inform us if your dog has been unwell or has an injury.
  1. 19. Whilst we take very precaution to ensure your dog remains safe and injury free, on rare occasions with dogs playing minor injuries such as scratches and scrapes can occur. If anything more serious was to occur we would immediately contact you and seek veterinary attention.

           

20. Invoices for services will be sent 1 month in arrears and payment is due on receipt. Payments overdue by more than 7 days from the date of the invoice will incur a late payment charge of £10 per week or part thereof.

21. There is a late pick up fee of £10 for each 15 minutes that you are after 6pm.
